BJP woman leader killed and thrown into river, husband arrested

NAGPUR: Husband arrested in case of killing BJP leader and throwing her in the river. The police arrested husband Amit Sahu in the case of killing Sana Khan, a native of Nagpur and a member of the BJP minority cell. Police informed that Amit Sahu has confessed to the crime and one more person has been arrested from Ghora Bazar in Jabalpur in connection with the incident.

Sahu also told the police that the body was thrown into the nearby river after the murder, but the police have not found the body yet. Amit Sahu was arrested ten days after Sana went missing.

Sana Khan went missing after visiting Jabalpur. Sana Khan reached Jabalpur on a private bus and called her mother. The family states that she went missing after this. The reason for the murder is not yet clear, the police said.
