NEW DELHI: Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the hospital after experiencing breathing difficulty. She was taken to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi on Monday evening. She was also suffering from a cough along with the breathing issue.
Hospital authorities said she came in for treatment as part of a routine check-up. Reports suggest that the breathing difficulty was caused by severe cold weather and air pollution in Delhi. Doctors said her condition is stable and that she is likely to be discharged within two days.
