
PATNA: A bride was found dead in mysterious circumstances in Bihar. She has been identified as Sarita of Vaishali in Bihar. Her in-laws dumped the body in front of her house and fled from the area. It is reported that the vehicle used to dump the body was registered in the name of a police sub-inspector.
A team who arrived in a black Scorpio dumped the body at the doorstep of her house. The information came to light when the family saw the body in the morning. The CCTV footage in front of the house clearly showed the vehicle arriving and leaving the body there. The police confirmed the incident and the officers took the Scorpio used for the crime into custody. This vehicle is in the name of Santosh Rajak, a sub inspector working in Muzaffarpur. The police are investigating whether he was involved in the murder or whether someone else misused the vehicle.
Sarita got married to Satyendra Kumar of Vaishali nine months ago. Even though the dowry was beyond her financial capacity, her in-laws tortured her for more money. Eight lakh rupees were paid for land registration. However, her father alleged that they were constantly torturing Saritha demanding Rs 3 lakh more.
Sarita's family alleged that there were strangulation marks and insists that it was a murder. Based on the complaint of the woman's father, the police registered an FIR against five people, including Sarita's husband. The body has been shifted for post-mortem. The police are conducting raids at various places to identify the persons seen in the CCTV footage.
