Couple from Thiruvananthapuram killed in road accident in Thane

MUMBAI: A Malayali couple was killed in a road accident in Thane. The deceased have been identified as Thiruvananthapuram Kadakkavoor natives Shobhukumar (57) and his wife Sivajeeva (52).

The accident took place in Kasara yesterday evening. According to sources, the taxi car in which they were travelling collided with another car. The couple were on their way from the Mumbai airport to their home in Nashik when they met with the accident. The driver of the taxi car is undergoing treatment for serious injuries.
