Did not know Vijugouda Patil: BJP leader's son attacks toll booth employee

BENGALURU: Karnataka BJP leader's son attacks toll booth employee for asking him to pay the fee. The accused is BJP leader Vijugouda Patil's son Samarthgouda Patil. The toll gate employee named Sangappa was the one who was assaulted.

Samarthgouda was going from Vijayapura to Sindhagi in a Thar SUV. When asked to pay at the toll booth, Samarthgouda replied that he was Vijugouda's son. The employee asked which Vijugouda, which angered Samarthgouda. Samarthgouda then entered the toll booth with his friends and attacked Sangappa.

The attack was stopped by the intervention of the staff. The injured Sangappa was admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The CCTV footage of the attack was captured. However, the police said that no official complaint has been received in the incident and action will be taken if a complaint is received. Vijugouda Patil is a BJP leader who has been contesting from the Baleshwar constituency since 2008.
