NEW DELHI: Unwinding a string of conspiracies came the news from NIA that the terrorists contemplated plans for the Delhi blast in Turkey, a close ally of Pakistan. It should be deemed that Turkey was aiding the heinous move of Pakistani terrorists to avenge Operation Sindoor by carrying out blasts in Ayodhya and elsewhere. The NIA is delving deep into the nexus at play.
During Operation Sindoor, Turkey assisted Pakistan with drones, which were reduced to ashes; credit to India’s stern retaliation.
The agencies received crucial information that a Jaish terrorist nicknamed "Ukasa" had given instructions to the "White Collar" terrorist group from the Turkish capital Ankara. Dr Umar Nabi and Dr Muzammil Ahmed Ganai, who were arrested in Faridabad, had visited Turkey several times since 2021. It is reported that they met Jaish-e-Mohammed leaders there. Meanwhile, the Turkish embassy denied all these allegations.
The plan was to carry out massive blasts in four cities, including Delhi, Ayodhya and Prayagraj, on the anniversary of the demolition of the Babri Masjid on December 6. A team of eight were appointed. One of them was Dr Umar Nabi, who blew himself up near the Red Fort. Dr Shaheen Saeed of Faridabad Al Falah University, Dr Muzammil Ahmed Ganai, and Dr Adil Ahmed Rather, a native of Pulwama, were the others. Dr Muhammad Arif of Kanpur, who is believed to be a member, was also arrested on Thursday. A red notice was issued for another member, Dr Musafir.
An attempt was made to buy 32 old cars to use in explosions. The Hyundai i20 that exploded was one of them. The Ford EcoSport found on Wednesday and the Suzuki Brezza seized from the Al Falah University campus on Thursday were also bought for such use. Diaries were also seized from the university hostel room. A secret chat group was also formed on Telegram.
