Football wizard Messi's special birthday gift to Indian PM Modi

WASHINGTON: Football legend Lionel Messi gifted his signed Argentina jersey, which he wore in the Qatar World Cup, to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is celebrating his 75th birthday on 17th September.

The star will reportedly be touring India from December 13 to 15 this year. He will be in Kolkata on December 13 and then in Mumbai the next day. Messi will end his India visit in Delhi on December 15. He is expected to meet PM Modi when in the national capital. The legendary star's India tour promoter and sports entrepreneur, Satadru Dutta, said that efforts are being made for the football wizard to meet with the Prime Minister.

Dutta said Messi is excited to perform in Mumbai for the first time and meet his fans there. Messi will also attend events like Salt Lake Opportunity, Wankhede Free and the launch of Feroz Shah Kotla.
