GURUGRAM: A disturbing video footage has come out showing a youth publicly masturbating in front of a woman model. The incident took place on a busy street in Gurugram. Although the model filed a complaint, the police reportedly delayed taking action on the complaint. The woman, who has thousands of followers on social media, shared the traumatic experience through an Instagram story and post.

'The incident happened around 11 AM on August 2. I had just reached Gurugram from Jaipur and was waiting for a cab at Rajiv Chowk. A man, who was dressed decently, kept staring at me. I ignored him at first. But when he continued staring at me, I became more alert. Suddenly, he came right in front of me, unzipped his pants and started masturbating without any shame, looking straight at me. I was completely shocked and didn't know what to do. I felt disgusted.

Some people blamed me for not shouting or reacting immediately. But they don't understand what a woman goes through in such a situation. Our first instinct is to stay safe, and that's exactly what I tried to do,' she wrote.

The model also alleged that the police showed irresponsibility in dealing with the case. She alleged that the police delayed the investigation even after she reported the incident and shared details. She said that the police initiated action only after the video of the incident began circulating on social media.
