
NEW DELHI: An IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at the Delhi airport following a suspicion of an engine failure. The plane was carrying 161 passengers. An alert was issued at the airport. All passengers are safe. No casualties have been reported.
The Boeing 737 aircraft bound for Delhi made an emergency landing. The fire brigade received information about the emergency landing at 10:54. The team immediately reached the spot.
Meantime, a parliamentary committee report on the country's 50 percent service was released yesterday. Out of 754 aircraft inspected between January 2025 and this February, 377 had problems. The operational efficiency of the aircraft was tested following the Ahmedabad plane crash. The maximum number of faults is for IndiGo. Of the 405 flights, glitches were found in 148 flights.
