NEW DELHI: In a shocking incident, a 10-year-old boy, who insisted on going outside to play in the rain, was stabbed to death by his father. The incident related to the case took place in Sagarpur in Delhi on Saturday morning. Police have registered a case and arrested the accused named Roy (40).
According to reports, Roy became enraged after the child refused to listen to his warnings against going out in the rain. In a fit of anger, he grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed the boy in the left side of his chest. Though the father himself rushed the severely injured boy to the hospital, the doctors were unable to save the boy's life. It was the doctors who informed the police that the child had been brought in with stab wounds.
Police stated that the accused, a daily wage worker, lived in a single-room rented house with his four children. His wife had passed away a few years ago. The deceased boy was the third of the four siblings.
