NEW DELHI: India has asked Pakistan to stop spreading false claims about Jammu and Kashmir and return the Indian territory it has forcefully taken. The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, stated this in response to Pakistan’s comments on Jammu and Kashmir.
India accused Pakistan of supporting terrorism across the border, which is well-known worldwide as the main issue causing problems in the region. Terrorism, India says, is the biggest roadblock to peace and security.
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry recently issued a statement criticizing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments during a podcast interview. Modi had said that all efforts to establish peace with Pakistan have failed. Pakistan claimed that India avoids resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, which has remained unresolved for over 70 years, despite earlier promises to the UN, Pakistan, and the people of Kashmir. Pakistan also accused India of causing trouble on its soil.
