Kangana Ranaut accuses CISF woman constable of slapping her at Chandigarh airport

NEW DELHI: Renowned actress and newly elected BJP MP from Mandi Kangana Ranaut has alleged that she was slapped by a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable at the Chandigarh airport. Kangana alleged that the woman constable of the CISF slapped her when she reached the airport today afternoon to travel to Delhi.

Kangana claimed that she was slapped by constable Kulwinder Kaur during the security check at the airport. It is reported that the officer slapped Kangana after getting into a verbal argument with the actress regarding the remarks made by her about the farmer's strike. The incident took place when Kangana was going to the boarding area.

CISF has appointed a special team to investigate the incident. Authorities have suspended the officer pending investigation. Kangana said that she would file a complaint with the Home Ministry.
