Man beats 17-year-old daughter to death for scoring low marks in NEET mock test

MUMBAI: A man beat his 17-year-old daughter to death for scoring low marks in NEET mock test. The incident happened at Sangli in Maharashtra. The dead is Sadhna Bhonsle, a plus two student. The police have arrested her father Dhondiram Bhonsle, a school teacher She had scored 92.60 % marks in class ten board exams.

However, Sadhna preparing for NEET exam, recently scored less marks in the mock test conducted. This angered her father and he beat her with a stick. Sadhana, suffered serious head injuries in the beating and was admitted to the hospital but succumbed to it on Friday. The police have registered a case on the complaint of Sadhna's mother. Dhondiram admitted to beating his daughter. The police said that further investigation is underway into the incident.
