Snake found tightly coiled in AC in house of Baidyas  

KOLKATA: A snake was found hiding inside the AC. The snake was found in the house of Tapas Baidya of North 24 Parganas. He said that he heard a strange sound when his daughter switched on the AC on Saturday night. The snake was found in the search conducted.

A non-venomous rat snake was found hiding inside the Ac. I got scared after hearing a strange sound. While examining the AC, the snake's face was peeking, Baidya said.

Baidya then called the AC service technicians. They could not get the snake out. The family then informed the forest department. The snake was tightly coiled within the AC. The forest department team later took the snake out and released it in a safe place.

A snake's skin was also found inside the AC. The snake may have entered the unit in search of food, said the forest official.
