Told to cut hair before attending class; School principal stabbed to death by students

CHANDIGARH: In a shocking incident in Hisar, Haryana, a school principal was stabbed to death by two students, reportedly enraged after being told to trim their hair. The incident took place in Hisar, Haryana. The students attacked the principal, reportedly out of anger, after being told to cut their hair. The deceased has been identified as Jagbir Singh, the principal of Kartar Memorial Senior Higher Secondary School. The attack occurred while examinations were underway at the school.

According to initial reports, the principal had instructed the students to trim their hair and adhere to school discipline, which reportedly triggered the violent response. In retaliation, the students attacked him with a knife. Jagbir Singh was immediately taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries during the treatment. The students have not yet been arrested. Further action will be taken after the post-mortem report is received.
