Woman sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for kidnapping and sexually abusing minor boy

JAIPUR: A woman has been sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment for kidnapping and sexually abusing a 17-year-old boy. A POCSO court in Bundi awarded the sentence. The incident happened on October 17 in 2023. A fine of Rs 45,000 has also been imposed on her.

The accused in the case is 30-year-old Lalibai Mogiya. The complaint was lodged by the boy’s mother. Her complaint said that Mogiya lured her son and took him to Jaipur and stayed in a hotel room. She made him drink liquor and abused him sexually for a week.

The boy’s family lodged the complaint on November 7 in 2023. The police registered a case against her on charges of kidnap, juvenile justice, POCSO etc. The boy was subjected to medical examination. After she was found guilty on investigation, she was arrested and released on bail later.
