150 attempts to hack Kerala state lottery server, case filed against lottery agent and women

KOCHI: Attempts were made to hack the highly secure server of the Kerala state lottery department. There were 150 attempts to hack the server. The Thiruvananthapuram City Cyber ​​Police has registered a case on the complaint filed by the lottery department. Muvattupuzha native MA Arun and Indu Arun have been named as accused.

The internal security department conducted an inspection after continuous hacking attempts were noticed on January 8. It was found that the hacking attempt was made using the agency code of lottery agent Arun. A case has been registered under the IT Act. The police will soon reach Muvattupuzha and record their statements.

Strong security

The lottery server has a strong security system that can withstand any attack. That is why the hacking attempt was unsuccessful. Five lakh rupees are spent annually on server security.

Accused also files complaint

The accused in the case, natives of Muvattupuzha, have filed a complaint with the police that someone was misusing their lottery agency code. The police will investigate this matter as well.
