57-year-old man assaulted by son dies in Idukki

IDUKKI: A 57-year-old man, who was undergoing treatment after brutally beaten by his son, died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Thodupuzha. The incident happened at Rajakkad in Idukki. The dead is Madhu of Vettikkulam House in Athmavu City.

The incident happened on August 14. His son Sudheesh beat him him brutally. He came home drunk and then attacked his father demanding to write the property in his name. He breathed his last Wednesday morning. Sudheesh had also attacked his mother.
