NEDUMANGAD: A newlywed from Assam was found hanging at her workplace, a chicken farm in Chullimanoor, on Sunday. Robija Begum, 18, was found hanging at a private farm near the Chullimanoor Arampally pump house at around 3 pm on Sunday.

It has been only ten days since Robija married an Assam native, a coworker at the same place. The youngster, who got married in Assam, returned to the farm only a week ago. Many of their relatives also work on this farm. The police reached the spot and recorded their statements. There are indications that the young woman had been arguing with her relatives over a call she received on her mobile phone. Valiamala police registered a case in the incident.
