Bus conductor forcefully kisses student; girl's brother and friends hand over accused to police

THRISSUR: A bus conductor was arrested for forcefully kissing and misbehaving with a school student inside the bus. The incident took place in Thrissur. The arrested person has been identified as Perumbillissery native Sajan (37), a conductor of the private bus named Sastha, which operates on the Thrissur-Kodungallur route.

The incident took place at around 7 am on Friday at the Irinjalakkuda bus stand. According to sources, Sajan forcefully kissed the girl and misbehaved with her after she got on the bus to go to her school.

The incident came to light when the girl told about the incident to her teachers at school. Following this, the teachers contacted the child's parents and informed the matter. By around 5.30 pm, the girl's brother and friends got into the bus, apprehended Sajan and asked the driver to take the bus to the police station. They then handed over the accused to the police.
