'CPM leaders are constantly harassing me, how can I live?': Differently abled man attempts self-immolation

KOZHIKODE: A differently-abled man attempted self-immolation in Vadakara after pouring kerosene over his body. Prashant, a resident of Thattolikara in Mukkali, attempted self-immolation and blamed CPM leaders for attempting the extreme step. He said CPM leaders are constantly harassing him and he had to do this because of this.

"I had to come to lie on the road because I have no other way. Let them decide whether I should die or live. How can I live if they harm me like this?", Prashant asked.

Locals shifted Prashant to hospital. Prashanth's leg, which was injured in the accident, was amputated a long time ago. At the same time, the CPM responded that there is no basis in the allegation.
