NATTIKA: Two women included in the goonda list of Valapad station limits were charged under KAAPA and deported. Swathi (28) of Chikkavayalil house, a native of Valapad Karayamuttam, and Hima (25) of Iyyani house, a native of Valapad, were deported for one year under KAAPA.

Hima and Swathi were ordered to sign for six months at the Kodungallur DySP office under the KAAPA Act from June 16 to prevent them from committing other crimes. They are being deported under the KAAPA Act after they were involved in a case of entering a deceased person's house and launching an attack, violating this order. Hima and Swathi are accused in four criminal cases at the Valapad police station, including a robbery case, two cases of entering a house and attacking, and one case of assault. The order under the KAAPA was issued by Thrissur Range DIG Harishankar on the recommendation of Rural District Police Chief B Krishnakumar.
