Kochi crime shock: Actress Sajeena's luxury car and shoot wardrobe stolen from Kaloor parking lot; ex-BMW owner a suspect

KOCHI: A serial actress' costume and gold ornaments were stolen in a financial dispute over a luxury car. The police have registered a case of theft in the incident. The car belonged to Malayalam television serial actor Sajeena, a native of Kollam Uliyakovil.

The BMW car went missing from the parking lot of the Kaloor Kent flat complex, where the actress lives. The actress came to know that the car was missing when she reached the parking lot in the morning to go for a shoot. Sajeena's costume and the continuity clothes used in the serial she is currently acting in were in the car. The actress's complaint states that a pair of anklets, a thali and a bangle, as well as six and a half sovereigns worth of gold ornaments were also in the car.

Meanwhile, the police said that there was a dispute between the owner and the actress regarding the price of the car that the actress bought from a Malappuram native. It is suspected that the actress did not pay the full price of the car and as a result, the owner took the car without the actress's knowledge. The Palarivattom police have registered a case.
