Laptop, computer used to destroy data on Dileep's phone is with actor's lawyer, says Sai Shankar

KOCHI: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the actress attack case questioned cyber expert Sai Shankar for two and a half hours yesterday afternoon in connection with the destruction of data from actor Dileep's phones. The interrogation took place at the Aluva Police Club. Sai said that Dileep's lawyer had the laptop and computer used to destroy the data.

Sai Shankar was again questioned to further clarify his earlier statement regarding the destruction of records on the phone. Sai Shankar's confession had been recorded earlier.

Anoop and Suraj to appear before CB

Dileep's brother Anoop and brother-in-law Suraj will appear before the crime branch today. The two were given notice to appear at the Aluva Police Club at 10 am. The decision to question Kavya Madhavan will be taken after questioning them.

Conspiracy case: Court to give verdict on Dileep's plea today

The High Court will give its verdict on Dileep's plea to quash the case accusing him of hatching a conspiracy to kill probe officials.
