Three persons arrested in death of youth who attacked locals in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: Police have arrested three persons in the incident where a youth, who attacked the locals in Karinkallathani, was killed. The arrested persons are Nelliparambu natives Hasan, Abubacker Siddique and Muhammad Abubacker Hydroos. The police said that the accused beat the murdered Nizamuddin while trying to apprehend him.

Nizamuddin, who was an accused in several criminal cases, was killed on Sunday night. He was a drug addict and attacked many people on the night of his murder. He had also stabbed Karinkallathani native Saidalavi on that night. Saidalavi is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Perinthalmanna.

According to the police, Nizamuddin sustained serious injuries when the locals tried to apprehend him by beating him up. Following this, he was rushed to the Manjeri Medical College Hospital. However, he died while undergoing treatment there.
