LPG price a relief; price of cooking gas cylinders reduced by Rs 15

NEW DELHI: The price of cooking gas cylinders for commercial purposes has been reduced. An amount of Rs 15.50 has been reduced. The price of 19 kg cylinder has been reduced. Meantime, there is no change in the price of cooking gas cylinders for domestic purposes. The revised price will come into effect from today.

The price of a commercial cylinder was reduced by Rs 41 in April. This was followed by another reduction in the price. However, the price of cylinders for domestic purposes was increased in April. The price of a 14.2 kg gas cylinder was increased by Rs 50.

Cooking gas prices are revised on the 1st and 15th of every month. Oil marketing companies revise prices every month, taking into account changes in international oil prices, tax norms and supply-demand factors.
