THRISSUR: The police have concluded that a professional thief is not behind the bank robbery in the Federal Bank in Potta but a local person. It was initially believed that the thief was from another state. In further investigation, it became clear to the police that the thief was a Malayali and that he has no criminal background.

The methods used to commit the robbery and the fact that only Rs 15 lakh was stolen despite there being about half a crore rupee on the counter led the police to conclude that he was not a professional criminal. It is also known that some clues have been obtained to identify the thief.

The thief arrived in an Ntorq scooter. The police have prepared a list of people who have this scooter in the district. The goal is to find the scooter from which the thief came. The police also believe that the thief may have stolen only 15 lakh rupees with some specific objective in mind. The police also suspect that he robbed the money after getting help from someone in the bank. The police believe that such a theft could not have been executed in the bank operating next to a busy road without someone's help. The police have recorded the statements of the bank employees again. The police are indicating that the accused will be arrested soon.

Meanwhile, the security of the bank has been increased. A security guard was posted on duty at the bank yesterday. There was no security guard here at the time of the robbery.
