The arrest of the woman’s friend Dhanesh of Ayyampuzha, was recorded the other day in the case. The girls, aged ten and twelve, were sexually abused.

The girls were abused taking advantage of his friendship with their mother. The girls' father had died earlier. When he was sick, hired Dhanesh's taxi to take him to the hospital. Taking advantage of this, he became close with the girls' mother.

After the death of the girls' father, he used to come and stay in the rented house where the woman stayed with her children. The girls considered him as their stepfather.

The accused repeatedly exploited the girls sexually from 2023 to last month. He also asked the girls to introduce him to their friends. The elder girl wrote a letter to her friend saying, ‘Our father wants to see you, come home.’ The friend’s mother saw this, she became suspicious and informed the police. The information about the abuse came to light when the statement of the elder girl was registered.
