One held for sexually abusing toddler in Wayanad

KALPETTA: One has been arrested for sexually abusing a two-and-a-half-year-old girl at Mananthavady in Wayanad. The incident happened two months ago. The toddler was admitted to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital due to physical issues. The information about the rape came to light in an examination conducted. The hospital authorities informed the police about it. The Mananthavady police are investigating the case. After grilling the accused in detail, he was produced in the court and remanded.
