PTA meeting witnesses terrifying drunk driving; attempt to murder PT teacher; ganja seized

ALAPPUZHA: Youths who created a panic by performing car stunts at St. George School in Mattam have been arrested. Thazhakkara native Aneesh M.V. and Kaitha South native Avinash were arrested. Ganja was seized from the vehicle.

The car was driven through the school gate. The accused created a panic by speeding through the students and parents who had come for the PTA meeting. When the physical education teacher tried to stop the accused, they tried to kill him by running him over with the car and physically assaulting him.

The police officers who arrived at the scene were also assaulted. The accused and the vehicle were then taken into custody and taken to the station. Ganja was found in the vehicle during the inspection conducted here. The accused, who were produced in court, were remanded. The accused were arrested by SI Abi Varghese, CPO Ashok, Jishnu and Akhil.
