ALAPPUZHA: It is suspected that Angel Jasmine (28), a native of Omanapuzha, who was murdered by her father and mother, followed any rituals like Satanic worship. The basis for this is the texts written on the wall of the house regarding salvation. However, Mannanchery CI Tolson P. Joseph said that no other indications regarding Satanic worship have been found. It is also unclear where Angel went at night. No evidence related to this was found from checking the call list on the phone.

The words 'Moksha, Freedom from Birth and Death, Salvation' were written on the wall. According to the parents' statement, Angel threw the Bible during an argument on the day of the murder. Angel was strangled to death by her father Francis with the help of her mother Jesimol on Tuesday night. Francis, Jesimol and brother-in-law Aloysius are in remand in the incident.

Resigned religious habit and got married

Angel is a person who accepted the religious habit to become a nun and then left it of her own free will. Neighbours said that Angel did not even look at anyone and her face was angry during the ceremony of her becoming a nun. She gave up the religious habit within days. She got married two years later. According to her husband Prahin, Angel's mood used to change suddenly after marriage. Mannancherry police will file an application in court on Wednesday to take custody of Angel's mother, Jesimole.
