Woman of Kollam attacked accusing of immoral activities in Kochi

KOCHI: A woman was assaulted in a case of suspected moral policing when she was returning home after work. The incident happened at Thiruvaniyoor in Ernakulam. The woman of Kollam, was brutally assaulted by the group when she was returning with her male friend.

The two were accused of immoral activities. They slapped her and then kicked her on the ground. When the auto came to take her to the hospital, the moral policing team threatened the driver. The Chottanikkara police then arrived and shifted her to the hospital.

She is presently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kollam. A case has been registered against Manikuttan, Bibin, Baby and six other known people.
