Woman's body found bleeding on bed, death caused by head injury, police searching for husband

IDUKKI: A woman was found dead in a pool of blood inside her house. The deceased was Rajani Subin (38), the wife of Subin, a native of Mathaipara MC Kavala. Subin (Ratheesh 43) is absconding. The police have started a search for him.

Rajani was found dead inside the house on Tuesday evening. The initial conclusion is that it was a murder. The body was lying face down on the bed inside the house. It is believed that she died from a blow to the head. The police are searching for Subin, an autorickshaw driver in Mathaipara. Subin and his wife Rajani had frequent family disputes. There have been several police cases in this regard.

They moved back into this house a month ago. On Tuesday, when their younger son came home from school, he found Rajani lying unconscious. The son informed the panchayat member. The police were then informed. Police investigations revealed that Rajani had died of head injuries. Some people saw Subin board the bus from Parappil around 1:30 pm on Tuesday. Subin and Rajani have three children. Revathi is a degree student, Rathin is a plus two student, and Rajiv is a class 10 student. The investigation is being led by Idukki Special Branch DySP Yunus, Peerumedu DySP Vishal Johnson, Upputhara CI A. Faisal, and SI KP Saji. Postmortem will be conducted tomorrow.
