‘He brutally abused the woman; how can a handicapped jump jail without anyone’s help, may have got help from outside? 

KANNUR: The mother of the murdered woman asked how Govindachamy escaped from such a big jail. She said that it is not easy for him to jump the jail without anyone’s help. He should be caught as early as possible, she said.

'He is the one who brutally raped a girl. Should not leave him alone. Since hearing this, I am shivering and am not able to do anything. Our police will catch him. How can a handicapped jump the jail without anyone’s help, she asked?

Govindachamy escaped from jail with an accurate plan. He may have got help from outside. An investigation is being conducted on some who came to meet him recently. The jail officials are also checking whether anyone helped him.

The case is that when the woman was travelling alone in the ladies’ compartment on Feb 1, 2011, was attacked and pushed off the train by the one-armed accused. He also jumped off, carried her on her shoulders at a wooded area at Vallotholnagar near the rail tracks, brutally raped and murdered her.
