‘Manavalan’ vlogger held for trying to kill students by ramming car

THRISSUR: Vlogger Mohammed Shaheen Shah known on social media as 'Manavaalan', has been taken into custody. A case of murder attempt was registered against Shaheen on the complaint of trying to ram his car into college students on bikes. Thrissur West Police had also issued a lookout notice against him. It is reported that he was arrested from Kodagu.


The incident happened on April 19 in 2024. He and his gang tried to kill the students following a dispute that broke out at Kerala Varma College. The complaint is that they tried to harm Gowtham Krishnan and his friend, who were riding a scooter.


Seeing the car coming, they stopped their bike but he tried to hit them with his car. Gautham and his friend were seriously injured in the accident. There were about ten people with Shaheen. The police issued a lookout notice after Shaheen went into hiding after the incident.
