KOTTAYAM: The police report in the deaths of a woman and her two daughters in Ettumanoor by jumping in front of a train, is out. The report submitted in the court by the police said the death of Shiny and her daughters was due to her husband Noby’s brutal mental harassment. The dead are Shiny Kuriakose (43) of Parolikkal and daughters Aleena (11) and Ivana (10). The police report has been filed against Shiny's husband Noby Luckose of Thodupuzha.
On the previous day of the incident, Noby called her on the phone and budged pressure on her. The police informed the court that this phone call led to the mass suicides. 'You along with your daughters stay there. Noby, who was abroad, told Shiny that he will reach home only after the three die. Why don’t you and children die without troubling me,’ Noby told Shiny. The police report submitted also mentioned that the accused abetted suicide. The police are waiting for the results of the phone examinations of Noby and Shiny. The police said the investigation in the case is in the initial stage. The police had filed a charge sheet against Noby last year in a complaint filed by Shiny at the Thodupuzha police station for domestic violence. Noby's mother is also an accused in this case.
Noby was drunk when he called Shiny. He had told Shiny that he would not divorce her and that he would not bear the expenses of their children. In addition, Noby defaulted the loan taken for his father's treatment. With this, Shiny was in a worse situation.
