‘Corrupt structures collapse one by one during tenure of Pinarayi Govt’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V D Satheesan has strongly criticized the LDF government. In a Facebook post, he said that bridges are constantly collapsing in the state when those who accused the Palarivattom bridge of being a Panchavadi bridge, are in power.

'Bridges are constantly collapsing in the state when those accusing the Palarivattom bridge of being a Panchavadi bridge, are in power. Three bridges collapsed in the state recently. The Thorayi Kadavu bridge under construction in Koyilandy Chemancheri collapsed yesterday. However, there were no casualties.

A few days ago, the Keecherikadavu bridge collapsed in Mavelikkara, killing two. The Koolimad bridge connecting Malappuram and Kozhikode also collapsed during construction. The Pinarayi Vijayan government tried to implicate the then public works minister in a case and put him in jail in the name of the bridge that did not collapse in Palarivattom.

It was during the same Pinarayi Vijayan government that corrupt structures began collapsing one by one. Doesn't the minister of the department have any responsibility in any of this? Are those who filed a case against former minister V K Ibrahim Kunju ready to file a case against the present PWD minister? Don't forget that people are watching everything,' added VD Satheesan.
