‘Survivor should get justice, culprits should not escape under any circumstances’, says Tovino

THRISSUR: Actor Tovino Thomas said whoever has committed a crime in the actor assault case should be punished. The survivor should get justice and that is the most important. He was speaking to the media after casting his vote in the local body elections. Tovino cast his vote along with his family at a booth in Irinjalakuda in Thrissur, his hometown.

'It is a good thing that the government is going for an appeal in the case. What else can I say? Sometimes I don't even know as much as you journalists know about this. The most important thing is the survivor should get justice and the culprits need to be punished. We have not seen the case file, nor have we seen the crime taking place. Therefore, I feel that we should trust the court's verdict. If there is anything beyond that, I am also waiting. Those who have done wrong should not escape under any circumstances,' said Tovino.
