
BHUTAN: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said those behind the blast in Delhi will not be spared and that they will be brought before law. Modi, who is in Bhutan said that he is monitoring the situation. The attack is seen seriously, he said.
Modi said, ‘I stand here with a very heavy heart. The ghastly incident that happened in Delhi yesterday has deeply saddened everyone. I understand the grief of the victims’ families. The entire nation is with them. I was in touch will all agencies investigating the incident. Our agencies will unravel the conspiracy. The conspirators behind the act will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice.’
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had earlier said that the leading investigating agencies are conducting an investigation. A deadly car blast near Red Fort in Delhi yesterday had killed 13 and injured many.
‘I would like to assure my fellow citizens that a thorough investigation is underway. The findings of the investigation will be made public soon. Those responsible for this tragedy will be brought to justice. I assure the nation that they will not be spared under any circumstances,’ said Rajnath Singh. He expressed his condolences to all those who lost their lives in the blast.
