THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said Kerala should be protected from traitors. Amit Shah said this while inaugurating the NDA state representatives' conference. He added that he had said that if the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation is ruled by the BJP, he would offer prayers at the Padmanabhaswamy Temple and he did that today.
‘It was not easy to make the lotus bloom in Kerala. There was no BJP rule in Kerala. All that was there was the dedication of lakhs of workers. Achieved a great victory in Kerala. There are still steps to the goal. The goal is to have a BJP Chief Minister in Kerala.
Kerala should be protected from traitors. Trust should be protected. Only the BJP led by Modi can do all these things. Will change India into a developed country in 2047. Development is presently at a standstill in Kerala.
The LDF and the UDF say they will end corruption but have done nothing. Both the fronts are not able to protect trust. The BJP will definitely come to power in Kerala. We see a BJP mayor in Thiruvananthapuram today and will see a BJP Chief Minister again. The looting of gold from Sabarimala has affected not only Kerala but also the faith community of the country,' clarified Amit Shah.
