THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday to kick off the NDA’s 'Mission 2026' ahead of the Kerala Assembly elections. He will inaugurate the 'New India, New Kerala' conclave organised by Kerala Kaumudi today at 3 pm.

The conclave series aims to initiate discussions on shaping a new vision for Kerala in line with India’s rapid growth. The event will be held at Hotel Lemon Tree, Thycaud, with Kerala Kaumudi Chief Editor Deepu Ravi presiding over the function. Ranjith Karthikeyan will deliver the introductory address. The programme is being organised as part of Kerala Kaumudi’s 114th anniversary celebrations.

The conclave seeks to draw public attention to Kerala’s development goals alongside India’s progress in the economic, social, industrial, and commercial sectors over the past two decades. It also aims to bring clarity on the development targets Kerala can achieve in the next 20 years.
