13-year-old girl who went missing from Ernakulam could not be traced, police begin investigation

KOCHI: The police could not trace the 13-year-old girl who went missing from Karimugal in Ernakulam on Tuesday night. The girl missing is Fathimathool Nihala, daughter of Afzal of Karimugal. The police have got the CCTV footage of the girl reaching Karimugal junction.

The family filed a missing complaint at the Ambalamedu police station. The police believe that the girl had left home around 12 on Tuesday night. The family had scolded her for using the mobile phone without going to bed earlier. The girl’s mother had snatched the phone from her. When her father returned from work around midnight, noticed the gate of the house left open.


When searched the house, found her missing. The family immediately filed a complaint with the police. The girl was wearing a green T-shirt and pants. She had taken some clothes from the house. Anyone getting information about her should inform the police.
