21-year-old woman found dead at apartment in Kozhikode; boyfriend taken into custody

KOZHIKODE: A 21-year-old woman was found dead at her apartment in Eranhipaalam on Sunday night. The deceased has been identified as Atholi native Ayisha Raza, who lived at Sarovaram Road in Eranhipaalam. According to initial reports, the death is suspected to be a case of suicide. Police have taken her boyfriend into custody in connection with the incident.

Ayisha was found dead inside her apartment on Sunday night. The body is currently kept at the hospital and will be handed over to relatives after the post-mortem.
