Actor Dileep visits Rajarajeshwara Temple in Taliparamba, offers ‘Ponnin Kudam’ 

KANNUR: Actor Dileep visited the Rajarajeshwara Temple in Taliparamba Saturday morning. The actor prayed after offering Ponnin Kudam in the temple.

The actor was recently acquitted in the actor assault case. Soon after this, the actor visited the temple and offered the Ponnin Kudam, the main offering of the temple. Acquitting him, the order said the conspiracy charge against Dileep will not stand. Dileep was the eighth accused in the case. All the accused were sentenced yesterday. The court sentenced six people, including the first accused Pulsar Suni, to 20 years in prison and also slapped a fine of Rs 50,000.

Prominent leaders including Union Home Minister Amit Shah had visited the Rajarajeshwara temple earlier and had offered Ponnin Kudam. Top leaders from Kerala and Karnataka regularly visit the Rajarajeshwara temple to offer prayers.
