Allegations including forced abortion, Rahul continuing as MLA is a disgrace, says K K Shailaja

KANNUR: CPM leader K K Shailaja said Rahul Mamkootathil continuing in the MLA post is a disgrace to Kerala. Shocking revelations were levelled against him. Serious allegations including forced abortion cannot be limited to his resignation from posts. Rahul has a mindset that is challenging women and the entire society, said Shailaja.

‘The entire Congress leadership, which ignored all the complaints received against Rahul and gave him the opportunity to become a representative of the people, is responsible for answering this issue. It was clear in the Vadakara parliamentary elections, that there is a group led by Rahul and Shafi Parambil, who use fake IDs to make comments against women in derogatory language. It was difficult to take legal action because of the use of fake IDs and deleting it after such comments.

The Congress leadership, which protected such people for political gain, has now responded as they have no other option. Strong legal action should be taken against Rahul, who has committed serious criminal offenses, including forced abortion. It is a shame for the entire Kerala Legislative Assembly that he continues to be a representative of the people,' K K Shailaja said in a press release.
