Another life lost in dangerous Achankovil river; ninth standard student's body found, search ongoing for another

PATHANAMTHITTA: The body of one of the two boys who drowned in the Kallarakkadavu Achankovil river was found on Tuesday evening. The body of Ajzal Aji, a native of Chittoor, Pathanamthitta, was found. He is a ninth-grade student. The search continues for Nabeel, another ninth-grade student who went missing in the river.

Ajzal Aji is the only son of Ajeep and Sarina. The couple had to wait for a long time to be blessed with a child, and thus they had a big affection for Ajzal. The students came to the river as a group to take reels and upload the videos on Instagram.

One student slipped into the river while walking on the edge, while another jumped to help. Others alerted the locals of the incident as both of them went missing. Ajzal's body was found after an hour and a half. Kallarakkadavu is always a nightmare for swimmers, as many have lost their lives in the past here.
