'Athukum mele'; CM Pinarayi Vijayan confident of LDF hat trick in Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was all confident as he said that the Left Front would come to power for a third term, with a margin, even beyond a level previously unheard of. He was replying to the discussion on the motion of thanks to the Governor's policy statement speech in the assembly.

CM PINARAYI VIJAYAN:

“There is nothing but darkness in front of the opposition. That is the reason why they have dropped logic and adopted the vile tactics of protests. They have nothing concrete to blame the government for. That is why they are abstaining from the assembly. A collective discussion was held in the assembly only on Wednesday, the fourth day of the assembly. Is this what the opposition is for? The Left Front can face both majority communalism and minority communalism equally.

Opposition leaders who are criticising the government's stance on PM Shri should understand how PM Shri was handled in Congress-ruled states. Don't forget that the Congress government signed it in the month after the PM Shri was announced in 2022. People are enjoying the benefits of the Left Front government. They will not take your criticisms at face value."

The House passed the motion of thanks with 66 votes against 26.
