Attack inside bar using deadly weapons; Three, including woman, arrested in Kochi

KOCHI: Three people, including a young woman, who were part of a kerfuffle inside a bar in Kochi using deadly weapons, were arrested by the police. The incident took place at a bar in Vyttila, Kochi. Thiruvananthapuram native Aleena and Kollam natives Shahin Shah and Al Amin were arrested by the Maradu police. The police said that the investigation is ongoing for the other accused in the case.

On Sunday, a group of attackers arrived at a bar in Vyttila armed with deadly weapons, including a club. A group of five, including a young woman, had a spat with a middle-aged man over drinking. Seeing this, a bar employee came to settle the issue. Things went south after the group roughed up the bar employee. The complaint states that the group, after leaving the place, returned five more times to attack. CCTV footage of the attackers entering the bar was also released.
