Bengaluru flight departs four and half hours before schedule from Karipur; passengers protest

KOZHIKODE: A flight from Karipur Airport took off four and a half hours ahead of schedule, sparking protest from passengers who were unaware of the time change. The passengers created a ruckus at the airport, upset that they had not been informed about the revised departure time.

The flight to Bengaluru, which was originally scheduled to depart at 8.30 pm on Tuesday, took off at 4 pm. Passengers who arrived at the airport unaware of the rescheduled time staged a protest inside the terminal, alleging that they had not been informed about the early departure.

However, airline officials claimed that the passengers had been notified in advance. The protest was called off after the airline assured passengers that their ticket fares would be refunded.
