Bike carrying three passengers rams into crowd; man who came to watch Onam celebrations dead

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: One person was killed when a bike rammed into him during Onam celebrations at Sasthavattom in Mangalapuram. The deceased has been identified as Shaiju (45), a native of Sasthavattom.

Though Shaiju was rushed to the medical college, he died of serious injuries at 6.30 pm. Roshan Raj, a native of Perunguzhi, who was riding the bike, also sustained serious injuries. Shaiju had come to see the Onam celebrations of a club in Sasthavattom. The bike on which three people were riding rammed into the crowd of people who had come to watch the celebrations.
